The Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology is dedicated to promoting health through the expert care provided by experienced medical professionals. Our mission includes preventing diabetes and its complications via Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), which involves patient education, professional training, and treatment. The department aims to become the leading medical service provider in Nepal by delivering compassionate, quality healthcare and reducing diabetes complications through a system of shared care and collaboration with various specialties.

Endocrinology addresses a broad spectrum of glandular issues and related conditions, including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, hormonal disorders, bone diseases, and metabolic disorders. The department offers comprehensive care that integrates diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for these conditions. Internal Medicine plays a crucial role by providing primary medical care throughout the hospital, working closely with specialists, nurses, and other staff to ensure thoughtful, safe, and effective care. This department also offers general medical care and consultative services for surgical inpatients from other departments.
